Who we help

Sole traders & contractors

You do the work. We keep the numbers, the returns and the deadlines under control, on a fixed fee you agree up front.

Who this is for

Accounting that fits around a business of one

We act for freelancers, consultants, tradespeople, creatives and contractors working through their own limited company or as sole traders. The work is the same discipline we bring to larger clients, scaled and priced for someone running everything themselves.

Most of what our clients want is straightforward: know what to set aside for tax, invoice properly, stay compliant, and not lose an evening to bookkeeping. We set the routine up once and then keep it running.

One fixed monthly fee, one person who knows your file, and no invoice for asking a question.

What’s included

Structure & status

Sole trader or limited company — get the decision right

The right structure depends on what you earn, how you take money out, who your clients are and where you expect to be in three years. We run the numbers both ways before you commit, and revisit it as the business changes.

Questions we get asked

It depends on your profit level, how you take income, and what your clients require. We model both positions on your actual numbers before recommending either.

We give you a figure to hold back each month, updated as your income changes, so January is never a surprise.

Only once your turnover passes the threshold, though voluntary registration can be worth it in some sectors. We monitor your position and tell you before it becomes urgent.

If you contract through your own company, possibly. We review your contracts and working practices and explain where you stand.

A fixed monthly fee agreed before we start, covering your accounts, returns and the questions in between.

Stop doing your own books.

Tell us how you work and we will quote a fixed monthly fee.
